The translator must be objective and accurate, understandable and readable. English and Chinese belong to different language systems with their own unique rules. Text translation of tourist attractions is restricted by linguistic factors, which emphasizes the equivalence of information content and stylistic functions between the source text and the target text, rather than the correspondence of linguistic forms. The translation of English and Chinese scenic spot texts is based on the linguistic habits of the target language readers, focusing on the compensation and addition of information content, the extension of words, the reorganization of sentence structure and the integration and adjustment of discourse,so as to effectively convey the information in the tourism texts.
