Abstract
Second Language Acquisition(SLA) was formally established as a discipline around the 1970s. Despite its youth, SLA have experienced rapid growth in recent decades. In China, it is mainly the study of English acquisition. Due to the different perspectives on second language acquisition, the study of second language acquisition tends to be interdisciplinary.Under the same teachers and learning environment, learners' learning effects are often quite different. The individual differences of learners mentioned here mainly lie in learners' personal reasons, such as linguistic competence, native language proficiency, learning motivation, personality and age, which will be taken as one of the research data of SLA theory.In addition to the above factors, there are also distinct individual differences in learning methods, learning attitudes, confidence emotions and other factors, which all have certain influence on second language learning.This paper attempts to explore three typical factors that are closely related to the success of second language acquisition, namely the learner's language learning beliefs, emotional states and various general factors. In addition, the impact on foreign languages and learning will be discussed. Second Language Acquisition theory is put forward on the basis of the study of Second Language Acquisition process and its laws, which is directly and closely related to English learning.
