Abstract: Any theory comes from the specific social practice related to it, so translation theory must come from the social practice of translation.Without the observation and understanding of translation practice and its results and influences, it is impossible to produce a translation theory.There is an interactive relationship between translation theory and translation practice.Any translation theory can be combined with relevant translation practice, which can not only regulate and guide practice, but also describe and explain practice.Each translation theory has its limitations and can only solve or explain some specific problems related to translation. In order to truly master and apply a translation theory correctly, we must understand its limitations. The intention of this study is to explore possible advantages of descriptive translation studies as in its application in translation practice and translation analysis.With frequent international business activities, the role of business English is also becoming increasingly significant, this paper takes the perspective of business English as a practical English language tool for its remarkable characteristics and the corresponding, the paper analyzed the english-chinese translation skills that can help people to better learning business English, better business communication, international trade and economic success.
