Abstract
Kinesics is one of the most important ways of human communication. In some cases, body language can convey emotion more directly than spoken or written language. Because of the cultural differences between China and Britain, the same kinesics may have different or even opposite meanings in different cultures. In this project, the kinesics, which is one of the non-verbal communication methods, is specifically discussed in terms of the differences between eastern and western cultures, including gaze, gesture, body posture, facial expression, speech behavior, body contact and other parts.Through the comparison and analysis of their differences and similarities, it is concluded that the kinesics learning in the UK is of great importance to English learning.
