Abstract
With the progress of world civilization, the world's culture is developing towards diversification, openness and integration. Tourism has become an indispensable part of our life. China is the origins of Oriental civilization, and more and more tourists come here. Good translation will make our culture spread rapidly through tourism, and the requirements for translation are not only accurate and complete. The beautiful and fluent translation requires the translation to convey the unique culture of the original as completely and accurately as possible. The most distinctive cultural imprint of each nation is the precipitation of history, geography, customs, national concepts, thinking patterns, and even words. How to combine the historical characteristics of each nation to translate accurately and with historical and cultural information is the transmission of tourism culture. Broadcasting plays an important role, and the study of cultural image translation gradually makes the translation in this direction possible. It is a combination of history and culture, a combination of literal translation and history and culture, a combination of culture and integration, so that translation has the beauty of art, and a comprehensive expression combining history and culture and other information. Taking West Lake Cultural Translation as an example, combining the history and folk stories of West Lake scenic spots, this paper expounds how the communicative translation theory of image translation can expand the role of West Lake scenic spots in global tourism.
