Abstract
The differences between Chinese and English language culture result in the difference of two kinds of appellation systems. If the Chinese address language directly to the English language, often cause unexpected changes in the confusion and even shock. Address terms belong to the category of folk language, people's daily communication and literary works of the large use. Language is the body of the body, is a reflection of the culture of a mirror, and therefore different cultures due to historical traditions, national psychological and other differences lead to different names. It is very important to understand the differences between Chinese and English names, and to explore the causes of social culture behind the differences. To understand the similarities and differences of Chinese English appellation language and to use it for the actual social communication and translation activities can help us to improve the quality of oral or written communication, and better promote the communication of culture and intercultural communication.
