摘 要
本文首先根据中美校园流行语的现有研究,总结了中美两国学者对这一新兴而强势的语言现象的认识层面、关注重点和所得成果,指出大多局限于语言学与社会文化心理角度的探讨与研究,并阐述了中美校园流行语的定义、特点及其发展;然后依据思维在语言中的不同表现形式种类,如具象,概念,主观,形合,整体等,对选取的中美校园流行语进行分门别类;最后,在此基础上,将归类的流行语与思维方式一一对应,得出各类流行语所体现的不同思维方式,从而归纳出中美学生思维方式上的差异。

ABSTRACT
This paper first summarizes what Chinese and American scholars focus on about popular campus language, which is an emerging but powerful force, pointing out that researches are limited to linguistic level, social cultural level and psychological level, and elaborates the definition, characteristics of popular campus language between China and America. It then classifies the chosen Chinese and American popular campus language according to different forms of thinking patterns, and finally analyses the divergences of thinking patterns between Chinese and American students by means of corresponding classified popular campus language with thinking patterns.
