Abstract
Since China entered the WTO,China has communicated with other countries in the world more frequently than ever before, When China has communicated with other countries, press conference is an important way in diplomacy affairs, which plays a significant role in the political, economic, and social stages. Interpreting play a crucial role in press conference. The proper ways of using interpreting strategies will affect the quality of the press conference interpreting.
In order to guarantee the quality of interpreting the press conference and to achieve the goal of complete expression of the meaning of source language, the strategies of the press conference are of great importance. Interpretive theory puts forward the standards of faithfulness of interpreting, which is in line with the standard of interpreting the press conference. Therefore, the interpretive theory can serve as a theoretical guide beneficial for the studies on the interpreting strategies of the press conference.
