Abstract
Culture and language are inseparable. Daily language is just passing a symbol. And this symbol is lifeless. We should use this symbol to communicate, so as to obtain a variety of information that are related with the culture. Due to the distinct traditions and customs of the Chinese and Western cultures, people’s lifestyles, ways of thinking, values and language habits are quite different. Many daily behaviors also have significant cultural differences in their communicative activities. The purpose of this paper is to compare and analyze the cultural differences in the communication between Chinese and Western languages to make people understand that language can be used only in a certain cultural context and context to reflect their communicative value. Language research has great inspiration and help.
