Abstract
Christmas and the Spring Festival is the product of different national culture, one is a Christian religious etiquette culture, the other one is the east for thousands of years of traditional folk. Although both in the winter season created a kind of sweet atmosphere, in the ring with gratitude and hope, but the Spring Festival and Christmas is very different. Christmas and Spring Festival are two most popular annual festival around the world, we can find that many difference between the two festival, from external to internal, including monotheism and polytheism, animal husbandry country and agriculture country. In this paper, origins and traditions will be compared, we may find different climate and geographical environment affect culture a lot. As globalization affect the world more and more, Christmas becomes more popular, propagates across the world, Spring Festival still celebrated by Chinese only, but also around the world.
