Abstract
This article does not study Gatsby’s values in The Great Gatsby , while it is the analysis of the full text and the definition and role of values to further understand what is called the values, what kind of role of the value. Gates than through their own efforts and his positive values, to bring him a great wealth, but Gates than the blind of love but ruined his life. This paper focuses on the different types of values that Gatsby possesses, and through the study of Gatsby's values, it is worthwhile to prove that a positive and progressive value is a milestone for a person's development. Everyone, we want to cultivate a good value, and resolutely resist the vulgar values, which for our personal development and social progress are of great significance.
