Abstract
Wuthering heights is the work of British writer Emily Bronte, is one of the representative work in 19th century British literature. This novel is full of romantic imagination and symbolism description, formed great challenge for the appreciation of readers, the distortion and criticism are more than the understanding and praise of the world. Later, Wuthering heights becomes one of the most studied works in the 19th century.
In the novel plot, Wuthering heights and Thrushcross Grange are two different world, represent two different life and character. This paper will expound the ingrained hatred from two types of love and hate, will analyze the process of love and the causes of hate in Wuthering heights from different perspective. The paper will be divided into five parts to complete. Firstly talks about the author and background introduction, the love tragedy topic content, and the purpose of this research. The second and third part are mainly about two kinds of love and hate between two generations, The fourth part is the root cause analysis of revenge, including the love and social factors. The last part is the conclusion of this article.
