Abstract
In recent years, with modern information technology to improve the web-based teaching in the rapid development of our country, which is important way for English teaching in the universities, and it has been gradually carried out in the conditional school and ushered in a new situation of information education. The web-based teaching with its unique ideas, ideas, means and methods will play its unique role in promoting the development of education. It can be cultivated students' independent learning ability, developed student personality and good students for lifelong learning. web-based teaching is not affected by time constraints, no matter anytime, anywhere learning, Students can adjust the course in a flexible timetable and without any constraints, but the network course in our country is still in the development stage.
