Abstract
The differences in values are the most fundamental cultural differences between different countries, which to a large extent determine the expression and understanding of language. Because of the differences in the traditional culture, paying attention to the differences in values between the Chinese and Western can avoid Chinese-English misunderstanding, making communication more authentic and more accurate, so as to improve the intercultural communication competence. Therefore, this paper firstly provides an overview of cultural value conflicts between Chinese and Western people，then analyzes the main differences, finally explores the influence of values on Sino-Western cultural exchanges.
