Abstract
Culture is extensive and profound because it has a deep history origin. The culture come from life and influence people’ life every day. China and western countries are in on both side of the earth. The distance is very far. There are so many differences between Chinese and western cultures, such as festival culture. Every country has its own festival. Festival culture is an important part of the Chinese and English cultures. We all know that the biggest festival in China is Spring Festival but in western country is Christmas. The Spring Festival and Christmas come from differences of culture, although the two of them have some similarity, the more is different. This article gives a detailed comparison of Spring Festival and Christmas, difference from Food, Celebrate Color, Worship god and ancestor. It is also analyzed the influential factors on differences between the Spring Festival and Christmas about Origin and people’ belief.
