Abstract
Poetry is beautiful and magical. From the poetry esthetics, the main component of the poem is the image. Image, as the basic component of poetry, is the smallest unit of poetry, which can be divided into explicit and implicit images. The image of poetry has its own unique charm, which is deeply attracted the author. The successful image translation can bring huge social impact, and we must not ignore the image of the translation. The image of Chinese classical poetry mainly concentrates on the charm and artistic conception of the poem, which carries the author's thoughts and feelings, and is the center of the poetry. The poetic image contains rich connotation of national culture, which is a difficult point in literary translation, and it also increases the difficulty of translation. Under the guidance of the concept of image translation, this paper analyzes the translation strategies of the image of Chinese poetry and this paper is strive to carry out the translation of image content, and promote the smooth progress of cross cultural communication accurately.
