Abstract
Africa has a long history of trade with China. Before the middle of Tang Dynasty, the trade between Africa and China is mainly conducted through the Land Silk Road. After the middle period of Tang Dynasty, the trade between Africa gradually turn to the Maritime Silk Road, Through the Silk Road, China's silk, porcelain, herbs and
paper, medicine, printing and other technology have been introduced to Central Asia and Africa countries. At the same time, the pearls, precious stones, spices, ivory and a variety of new varieties of flora and fauna of Africa countries also came to China,
Which play a great role on China-Africa economic development and social progress. The Silk Road has great impact on the development of China-African trade.
At here I make the development history of the Silk Road as a clue in chronological order, the Silk Road divided into four different stages to describe the influence，The development of Silk Road during the Tang Dynasty stage, flourishing stage of the song and Yuan Dynasties, from prosperity to decline stage of Ming and Qing Dynasty, and the development new Silk Road of 21st Century.
