Abstract
A language is the cultural carrier, and idioms is the essence of the language. People all know English idioms are charming. Idioms are widespread. They are simple but meaningful. They are vivid and humor, which they are the typical examples of aesthetic rhetoric and represents treasure of English language. They are the wisdom of English people. So this paper is divided into four chapters. They are introduction, characteristics, basic techniques and conclusion. The first chapter introduces English idioms and also analyses of English Idioms translation skills. The second chapter command the basic techniques for the English idiom translation. The article list lots of example to explain them. The final chapter concludes the thesis. This article help us to understanding the important of The translation of English idioms. The translation of English idioms can influence the quality of the version. We maybe meet the problems emerging during the translation, however we learn about English Idioms translation skills we can obtain the high quality translations.
