Abstract
With the arrival of the economic globalization and China's participation in the international competition, the English teaching of China faces brand-new challenges and opportunities. The traditional English teaching method has not satisfied the need of our social development very well, because there are several disadvantages in our traditional English teaching method. Some students graduated from their school, they can read and write, but don’t have the ability of speaking and listening when they enter into occupation, they had to take part in some English training center like Crazy English to improve their English ability.
Crazy English was created by Li Yang, Li believes that the traditional way of learning English in China is ineffective. So he complemented some insufficiency of the traditional English teaching method. He created “ three best training method” and encourage each of students to communicate in English. In many ways it remains similar to the traditional pedagogic practices.
In order to teach students more efficiently, our Traditional English teaching method must reform and combine other teaching method.
This thesis consists of five parts: Part one analysis traditional method and point out the disadvantages of traditional teaching method. Part two introduce Li yang and Crazy English briefly. Part three part emphasize on the method of Crazy English: three best training method and pronouncing with gesticulation. Part four give some advise for our Traditional English teaching method reform. Part five is the conclusion of the thesis.
