Abstract
Traditional phonetic symbols can improve the accuracy of word recognition, but because of few relationships of sounds and letters, we can not even read and spell new words we have never seen or heard before. Furthermore, depending on international phonetic symbols excessively would seriously destroy the fluency of reading, even our interests of learning. Then we can take advantages of the phonics to solve above problems smoothly; phonics is one of the word-reading and spelling methods that many countries regarding English as their mother tongue use it and try their best to promote it. Almost 70% of regular words in English vocabulary can be easily spelled out with phonics. This method, using the pronunciation of the 26 letters, 5 vowels with previous different consonants added to train or practice, is the corresponding rule between sounds and letters. It can bring this basic rule of words reading and spelling and pronunciation relations to learners, letting them have an ability to read and spell. With this new method of natural phonics, learners can be greatly improved the accuracy of word reading and spelling at present, and also will get a good foundation to words memorization even high English learning in the near future.
