Abstract
Along with the rapid development of communications technologies and the Internet, the activities of the international trade, cultural and technology exchanges are increasing. It is getting closer between different countries and cultures. Communication becomes increasingly important in the world. In the present fast-paced 21st century, Machine translation has received widespread attention from many people, which has also been serving different language requirements for human`s daily work and life. However, the rapid development of machine translation also makes social concerns: Will machine translation replace translators in the future?
This article will start from the introduction of machine translation with analysis of details of its feature and issues. The article focuses on the analysis of the factors which have impacts on machine translation, and then eva luates the relationship between machine translation and human translation, as well as sketches the prospect of machine translation.
