Abstract
With the improvement of reading ability, the primary school students' English learning is changed from words and sentences to sentences and texts. Based on the present situation of the students, teaching materials and teachers in primary school reading teaching, the author puts forward some strategies for reading teaching. The beginning stage of integration of teaching materials from the class, starting with the design of various forms of import, and then in-depth lesson, students' perception of content guidance, practice with the application of language at the end of last class, improve the students' English reading ability.
