Abstract
With the continuous development of China's economy and world economy, English is becoming more and more important as the most widely used language in the world. In many countries, English teaching is taught in primary schools. Teaching English courses in primary schools is a need for social development and an important beginning of English learning. However, English teaching in primary school started later in our country than in other countries, and the English course in primary school is not compulsory in our country, but optional. Opening English in Primary school in our country is in the case of no preparation, no enough teachers, no rules to follow in before, no successful experience, and even no formal teaching materials. But we have to integrate into this society, into the world, we have to adapt to the new international situation, we have to learn English. In order to improve our English teaching in primary school, this article first recognize the problems that exist in the process of English teaching, then tell the importance of English teaching in primary school, finally analyze the methods and measures to solve the problems.
