Abstract
Forasmuch the further globalization of economy nowadays, communications are becoming more frequent and significant, terminologies are always utilized in the field of industrial engineering. For example, technical interchange meetings are always held in the multinational enterprises, technicians talk with foreign experts, the staff cooperates with other departments and so on, but the conversations are usually suspended due to some uncomprehending words in some special engineering fields, so the application and the translating accuracy of terminologies appear particularly important.
The professional translating techniques could help communication get twice the result with half the effort in using some terminologies. This thesis will focus on the translation strategies of terminologies in the field of Injection Mold Engineering (abbr. IME), and it will discuss the translation technique and criterions on Combining with the actual translation process, the author will put forward some translation strategies and solutions to the terminology translation in IME, and hopes that it can provide a few references for translators of language major and engineering personage, even that it can help you have much more thinking to summarize the translation methods of terminologies.
