从《生命中不能承受之轻》看昆德拉的小说观
[摘 要] 二十世纪以来，电影的发展为大众文化建造了属于自己的阵地，也成为了学院派批评家攻击的标靶。其中法兰克福学派对大众文化的批判尤其具有启发性，但是其理论的漏洞也是明显的，尤其在文学向电影迁移后形成的，融合了高雅艺术和大众文化两方面要素的艺术形式中更可以看出法兰克福学派大众文化批判理论的诸多问题。而由小说《不能承受的生命之轻》改编的电影《布拉格之恋》就是这一艺术形式的一个典型样本，由对它与原小说文本的对比分析出发，我们可以获得重新检视法兰克福学派两位代表人物——阿多诺和本雅明的大众文化批评理论的机会，并对之做出更符合当代社会实际情况的理论修正。

Abstract: Since the beginning of the twentieth century, the development of the movie has built its own base camp for the popular culture, simultaneously, the movies have become the target of the critics from the academy, among which the critical theory of the Frankfurt school is the most inspiring one, however the vulnerabilities of which are also apparent, and especially in the new art form-----movies adapted from the literature ,which means combining the elements of both the classic art and the popular culture. It’s more obvious to discover the problems behind the critical theory on the popular culture of the Frankfurt school. While the movie<the unbearable lightness of being>adapted from Milan Kundera’s famous homonymous novel is a typical sample of the art form, if the comparative analysis of the movie and the original novel text is taken as our starting point, the critical theory of the two representative figures of the Frankfurt school, namely Adorno and Benjamin, could be reexamined, and may be modified to be more accordant with the situation of the contemporary society.

引 言
二十世纪享有盛誉的小说家米兰•昆德拉的代表作《不能承受的生命之轻》在1988年被翻拍成为电影《布拉格之恋》（英文名仍然是the unbearable lightness of being）,并在当年被提名包括两项奥斯卡在内的九个奖项，并且最终获得了包括英国电影和电视艺术学院奖（BAFTA）以及美国影评人协会奖（NSFC）在内的四项大奖。
从这个角度看来在接受了学院机制的洗礼之后，这部电影俨然已经跻身了所谓艺术的行列。也就是说，从洛文塔尔“与大众文化相对应的概念是艺术”[1]的观点来看，这部影片已经站在了大众文化的对立面上。可是，细看来不难发现：小说文本向电影文本迁移的过程中,就像不同语言间的翻译一般,总会出现各种各样的“讹”,因此电影文本相对于小说文本表现出的一些倾向性很难被忽略掉，并且值得思考的是它们往往指向大众文化。
