Abstract
Under the background of the new curriculum reform, the teaching methods of primary school English have undergone great changes. In traditional primary school English teaching, the method is too simple and boring, and the enthusiasm of primary school students to learn English is not high. The game teaching is a new teaching model that assists English teaching, and has a unique role in English teaching in primary schools. Adding the game to the teaching will make the class more interesting and will make students feel more involved. How to apply games to teaching naturally and effectively is the biggest problem in the development of educational games. This article will take primary school English teaching as an example. Based on the overview of the game teaching method, this paper analyzes how primary school students use the game teaching method to enhance students' interest in English courses and explores the strategy of game teaching.
