Abstract
Since the beginning of reform and opening up in the 1980s, China's diplomatic exchanges have become more frequent, and English has become a universal language with the power of the US superpowers. More international friends communicate through English to achieve the purpose of conversation. At the same time, with the vigorous development of China's tourism industry, overseas tourists entering China are increasing. Claude Baumgarten said that China is now the world's second largest tourism market after the United States, and plays an important role in the global tourism industry. Therefore, the translation of introductory texts of tourist attractions is an important way for foreign tourists to understand Chinese tourism information and culture. When translating tourist texts, the quality of English translations of tourist translations and attraction introductions directly affects the understanding of foreign tourists. The most important thing in translating tourist attractions is to spread Chinese culture and attract foreign tourists. This article takes Huangshan tourism as an example, combined with the Chinese and English introduction materials of the tourism, analyzes the problems that arise, and from the perspective of the information function of translation, gives a strategy method for Huangshan tourism translation.
