Abstract
Feminism is a movement initiated to end sexism, sexism, and sexual oppression, to give women equal status with men in various fields such as politics, economy, culture, conception, and ethics, and to promote class equality. From the beginning of the 18th century, feminism has developed in more and more diverse forms and with a wider range, taking root in every corner of the world. One of the manifestations of the feminist movement includes movies and televisions, among all kinds of works, "Gone with the Wind" can be said to be a classic work that expresses the concept of feminism. The heroine Scarlett in the movie "Gone with the Wind", a woman with many personalities and characters, like a combination of a devil and an angel, leads the audience to vividly appreciate the feminist development characteristics of the American Civil War and uses her epic to inspire generations of people to work hard for feminism. This article analyzes Scarlett's character in the movie "Gone with the Wind", analyzes the form of feminist thought in Scarlett, and its impact on the late feminist movement.
