Abstract
Stimulating students' interest in learning is the key to promoting their independent learning and lifelong development. It is of great significance for improving teaching quality and student quality. However, in the actual teaching process, the current situation of English learning for junior high school students is not satisfactory.
This article analyzes the factors that hinder middle school students 'interest in English learning from different perspectives such as students' own values, social environment, teaching methods with teachers, and teacher-student relationship through interviews, data checking, and questionnaire distribution. Eventually, we are combined these factors with actual teaching to explore corresponding solutions.
