Abstract
In recent years, with the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform.It brings new development space for primary school English class，as a primary school student learning English guide，teachers are going to change the boring English classes in primary schools，we should follow the pace of The Times and integrate new media technology into it，integrate pictures, videos and music into the teaching, set up teaching situations to help students better understand the teaching content and enliven the classroom atmosphere to increase students' interest in the teaching content, students can also learn through new media products anytime and anywhere.New media can play a great role in English language teaching, deeply mobilize the enthusiasm of primary school students, so as to ensure the efficiency of English language teaching.This paper mainly focuses on the research background, the necessity of new media in English language education, the necessity of new media in teaching, the thinking of new media in teaching and other aspects.
