Abstract
When we go to school, our favorite thing is to listen to the English teacher tell us about each country's eating habits and culture. At that time, we knew that not every country ate rice as we did. Not every country USES chopsticks like we do. Every country has its own food culture. As the saying goes, "Food is the soul of the people". Due to regional characteristics, climatic environment, customs and other factors, food culture will appear in raw materials, tastes, cooking methods and other aspects. Eating habits vary to different degrees. Therefore, with the development of The Times, each country's food style has gradually formed its own food culture, with different eating habits in different regions, and different food culture has created different food culture.
In order to avoid misunderstandings in cross-cultural communication in the future, we will make a further analysis of Chinese and Western food culture through these reasons. From the aspects of Chinese and Western dietary habits, tableware and seat placement, and the prospect of future dietary culture development, this paper discusses and analyzes the Chinese and Western dietary culture by consulting friends who have lived in both Countries, consulting the Internet, and referring to literature, and so on. At present, quite good results have been obtained.
