Abstract
A tale of two cities is one of dickens' most important representative works. It occupies a special position in all his works. Compared with his other works, it can better reflect the author's creative thoughts and artistic features. From the point of view of Sydney Carton, this paper analyzes its humanitarian thoughts, aiming at providing humanistic care for the construction of today's harmonious society.
