Abstract
With the continuous industry development of economic globalization and cultural globalization, tourism has also entered the era of globalization.In recent years,China’s tourism industry has achieved sustained and rapid development.Tourism as a new growth point of national economy has been confirmed and play an important role in the whole society. More and more foreign tourists made us realize the importance of translation Attractions. Recent studies on tourism translation is also increasing, but most studies have focused on English translation of general travel information and translation methods.There is still much room for translation studies of tourist information, from different perspectives, different methods, and can also dig new material.Therefore, this paper will introduce the text of the translation of the West Lake area, and combined with the functional translation theory and teleology, to compare the differences between English and Chinese tourism text, and discuss the translation methods that can be used in the English translation of tourist attractions.
