On Combination of University Classroom English Teaching
with Learner Autonomy
Abstract: Nowadays, English has become more and more popular in China. However, the current University English situation is not so satisfying, both in classroom English teaching and learner autonomy. How could we ameliorate such aspects and how could we improve the present University English situation? My essay analyzes the recent condition of our University English teaching and the students’ learner autonomy, bringing forward some available and significant suggestions on how to improve classroom English teaching, the students’ autonomy, and how to combine them effectively. Moreover, I did a questionnaire in this essay concerning classroom English teaching and learner autonomy, and I did a serious analysis and conducted the data in order to give some advice to promote China’s University English teaching and to enhance the University students’ English study level.

谈如何将大学英语课堂教学与自主学习相结合
摘 要:在中国,英语已经非常普及,国民的英语学习热情始终处于高涨的状态。然而,我国大学英语教学的现状却不尽如人意:课堂教学和自主学习都存在着很多不足。如何才能改善这种局面、如何才能提高我国大学英语教学的现状等问题接踵而至。本文分析了我国大学英语教学和大学生英语自主学习的现状,提出应当对大学英语课堂教学进行改革、促进并提高大学生自主学习的意识和能力, 同时提出必须将课堂教学和自主学习进行有效结合,从而改善我国大学的英语教学现状,提高教学质量以及学生的英语学习水平。本文开展了问卷调查,对所有的数据和观点进行了详细的分析与总结,旨在为促进我国大学英语课堂教学与自主学习相结合提出一些有效建议,进而促进我国大学英语教学的高效发展和大学生英语学习水平的提高。
