An Analysis on Chinese-accented English Based on Some of Chinese Dialects
Abstract: As an international language, English has become more and more widely used in international communication. However, the varieties of English pronunciation bring lot of communication problems as well. The accent-English, rather than the grammar mistakes, brings communication problems to us more frequently. Chinese dialects deeply influence Chinese English learners on their English pronunciation. Therefore, it is of great necessity and importance to analyze the accent-English in China and explore the existing problems. The present paper is to give a brief introduction about the phenomena of seven Chinese-accent English and then suggest some practical techniques for Chinese to learn English pronunciation. This thesis consists of four parts. First, a brief introduction on the importance of studying Chinese accent-English is given and some foreign and domestic literatures are reviewed. Second, the author review the vowels and consonants inventories in English and Chinese (Mandarin) and then pose some questions. Then, a contrastive study between Chinese dialects and English in pronunciation of vowels and consonants is provided. In this study, the author find a lot of difference between English and Chinese dialects, including Henan, Hebei, Shandong, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Guangdong, and Guangxi dialects. Finally, some practical techniques is offered for Chinese to learn English pronunciation

基于汉语方言中英语口音分析
摘 要 英语作为在当今世界上一门重要的语言,已经被越来越广泛地运用。然而,英语学科里各种各样发音的问题却为很多人带来了麻烦。英语语音上的错误比起英语语法上的错误更容易引起沟通上的问题。中国的方言更是影响了中国学生在学习英语上的发音。所以,研究方言对英语发音的影响是具有重要性的。本文对中国七种不同的方言进行了详细且具体的分析,从而对中国学生学习英语提出一些实用的建议。本文包括四部分:第一部分是对问题的提出和国内外文献的回顾;第二部分是对中国普通话和英语发音进行比较区别;第三部分是研究中国地方方言对英语发音的影响;第四部分是对上述分析而得出一些对策和建议。
