摘 要
本文采用经验总结，文献分析和案例分析的方法，结合美国电影《当幸福来敲门》中三个具有代表性的场景，从文化价值观的角度综合分析美国家庭教育产生的根源。首先文章在前人研究基础上对家庭教育的概念及家庭教育与文化之间的关系进行阐述。其次选取电影《当幸福来敲门》中三个特征明显的片段作为研究对象，从历史背景，文化传统以及经济状况三个方面深入分析美国家庭教育形成的根源。从而得出结论，美国的家庭教育作为其文化的重要分支不可避免地打上了美国文化的烙印。最后对我国家庭教育的改革提出了几点建设性的意见。

ABSTRACT
Based on experience, analysis of literature and case analysis, this paper analyzes the American family education from the perspective of cultural value.
First, on the shoulder of previous study, this paper defines family education and explains the relationship between culture and education. Then the writer selects the movie The Pursuit of Happyness as the resource of research, choosing three typical episodes which obviously reflect the American family education as the objects of study. Next, this paper tries to analyze the cause of American education in the aspects of cultural tradition, historical background, and economy factors. Eventually, the writer gets the conclusion that as an inseparable part of American culture, family education is inevitably marked with the social features. Finally, some constructive suggestions have been put forward for the reforming of Chinese family education.
