Abstract
China joins WTO, indicates the opening to the outside world of our country enters a new stage, China will participate in the process of the economic globalization with deeper degree in larger range. The economic contacts will impel the development of cultural industry and cultural exchanges. Meanwhile, during the contacts with Chinese culture and world culture, the conflict will emerge because of difference, linking up with each other will lead to integration. This is a kind of trend. In the conflict and integration, information dissemination is playing an important role. The exchange of commodities just like the cultural exchanges, both of them must stand fast at the sincere principle. We should seize the opportunity, overcome the drawback existing in dissemination in the past, propagate China overall and truly, let the people of the world know China better; Meanwhile, we should introduce the world overall and truly too, make Chinese people know the world better.

摘 要
中国加入世界贸易组织，标志着我国对外开放进入了一个新阶段，中国将在更大的范围内和更深的程度上参与经济全球化的进程。经济的交往必将促使文化产业和文化交流的发展。与此同时，中国文化在与世界文化的交往中因差异而产生冲突，由沟通而形成融合，这是一种趋势。在冲突与融合中，信息传播发挥着重要的作用。文化交流与商品交换一样，都必须坚守诚信原则。我们应把握时机，克服以往传播中存在的弊端，全面真实地宣传中国，让世界人民更好地认识中国；同时，也要全面真实地介绍世界，使中国民众更好地认识世界。
