摘 要
近年来,我国旅游市场迅速发展,吸引了越来越多的外国游客。旅游翻译在进一步促进中国旅游业国际化的进程中发挥着越来越重要的作用。本论文中主要围绕旅游资料中文化信息的英译展开。作者建议译者应考虑旅游资料的文本类型,在翻译过程中注意翻译的基本目的。 本文认为,旅游翻译应该以游客为导向,旨在宣扬中国文化。因此,本文提出了一系列翻译的策略,包括直译、音译、意译。希望本研究能对提高中国旅游资料的翻译有所帮助,并对促进我国旅游事业的发展有所裨益。

ABSTRACT
In recent years, China's tourism market has developed rapidly, attracting more and more foreign visitors. Tourism translation plays an increasingly important role in further promoting internationalization of China's tourism. The present thesis applies the functionalist theory to the translation of Chinese tourism materials into English. The author suggests that the translator should take into consideration the text type of tourism materials, observing the general translation skopos in the process of translation.With the aim of realizing the purpose of tourism translation, this thesis that the translation should be tourist-oriented and aims at promoting Chinese culture. Accordingly, this thesis proposes a number of translation strategies, including literal translation、transliteration、free translation.It is hoped that the present study will be of some help for the improvement of the translation of Chinese tourism materials, and eventually be of a little help for the promotion of the development of our tourism.
