Research on the Business English Vocabulary Translation
Abstract: With the economic globalization and China's becoming one of the formal members of WTO (World Trade Organization), the translation of business English is playing a more and more important role in our economic development. Business English word is full of specific business terms, featuring formal-consultative style, logic and concise sentences, polite formulae. So, based on modern translation theories at home and abroad, this thesis makes a relevant study on the principles and approaches of business English words’ translation. The thesis discusses the definition of business English, linguistic features of business English and translation principles of business English words. Based on above analyses, I analyze business English words’ translation on macro and micro perspectives. With the analysis, description and contrast of paired translation examples, we endeavor to find out how specific translations are done in the true international business activities.

浅析商务英语词汇翻译
摘 要：随着经济全球化时代的到来和我国加入WTO正式成为世界贸易组织的一员，商务英语翻译在我国经济生活中的地位与作用越来越重要。商务英语词汇具有专业性强,语体规范正式,语句简洁明快,多社交性套语等特点。鉴于此，本文参考国内外的现代翻译理论，选择对商务英语词汇的翻译原则与方法进行了相关研究。本文介绍了商务英语词汇翻译的有关概念，包括商务英语的定义、语言特点及翻译原则。在结合这三方面分析的基础上，本文对商务英语词汇的翻译策略进行分析，运用实例分析的方法，通过描述和比较成对的商务英语词汇翻译语料，力求发现翻译活动是如何在真正的国际商务活动的背景下进行的。
