《哈利波特》中的种族歧视问题研究
摘 要
本文首先介绍了哈利波特系列中的第一本《哈利波特与魔法石》的故事背景和作者，并指出种族歧视问题是本书的主题之一；然后阐述了种族歧视和偏见的定义，本文还介绍了读书疗法这一概念，即通过阅读以帮助读者更好地理解各种问题，本人认为哈利波特系列对读者更好地认识现实中的种族歧视问题很有帮助；接着通过分析魔法师和麻瓜（非魔法群体）对彼此的看法引出作者想要表达的种族歧视主题；最后讨论了书中主角对种族歧视问题的立场，借此小说作者表达了希望读者能通过阅读理解种族之间互为平等的美好愿望。

ABSTRACT
This paper begins with the introduction of the author and the background of the book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, which is the first one of the Harry Potter series. It also points out that racism is one of the book’s main themes. It then elaborates the meaning of intolerance, prejudice and racism as well as the concept of bibliotherapy, the basic idea of which is that literature can heal and help readers to better understand different situations. As far as I am concerned, the Harry Potter series can help readers to have a better insight of racism in the real world. After that, by analyzing the opinions of Wizards and Muggles(non-magic community), it educes the theme of racism in the book; It finally discusses the choices made by the characters, and through the characters’ choices the author expresses her best hope of racial equality, which should be perceived by the readers through the process of reading.
