【摘 要】
爱情是世界文学永恒不变的话题。《梁山伯与祝英台》是中国流传很广的民间故事之一,它赞美的是青年男女追求爱情自由。而《罗密欧与朱丽叶》则描写了一对恋人被拆散后双双殉情的故事。本文旨在对《罗密欧与朱丽叶》和《梁山伯与祝英台》进行研究对比。即使在不同的国家,不同的时代,《罗密欧与朱丽叶》和《梁山伯与祝英台》都有很大的可比性。首先,介绍两文的故事梗概。第二,对比二者之间的相似处。这部分将从故事发展情节,喜剧色彩以及对爱情的态度三个大方面进行阐述。第三,将从人物性格和结尾的隐含意味进行区别对比。第四部分将从两部著作的文化背景入手探究其异同点的成因。最后,由于两部作品的结局都含有喜剧色彩,毕竟有情人终成眷属,在很大程度上,营造了一个相对轻松的环境,所以,相对于悲剧来说,《罗密欧与朱丽叶》和《梁山伯与祝英台》更趋向于悲喜剧。

[Abstract]
Love is an eternal theme in world literature. Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai is one of the most popular folk tales in China, which eulogizes freedom to pursue love. Romeo and Juliet, an epic love story, tells about the two lovers who die for love after being forced to break up. This paper centers on the comparison between Romeo and Juliet and Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai. Even though the two works are completed in different nations and at different times, Romeo and Juliet is well comparable with the latter. Firstly, this paper introduces the synopsis of the two stories. Secondly, it describes the similarities between them, including plot structure, ending with comic flavor and the attitudes towards love. Thirdly, it concentrates on the differences between these two works, analyzing the different personalities of the leading characters and the different implications in their endings. Fourthly, the cultural background is analyzed to explain the similarities and the differences between the two works. Last, in spite of the tragic elements, tragicomedy instead of tragedy is more suitable to classify the two works. The reason is that the endings of the two works are filled with comical flavor, which, to a large extent, has exerted a less sad environment. It is believed that Jack shall have Jill.
