Abstract
Family education is a common concern for parents, but also a social problem. In the current era, family education has become an important issue facing the world, and has been incorporated into the overall planning of the various countries. Family education is an important component of the whole education, which plays an important role in the cultivation of talents. There were two different concepts of education between Chinese and western family, and the two different concepts of education is caused by the barrier of two areas traditional culture, way of life, social customs, ideas and details, at the same time, it is the two different concepts of education leads to families in the western education mode is a big difference. From the relationship between family education and school education and social education, family education plays a fundamental role in the whole educational work. However, Chinese family education in the whole education project is a weak one. Whether we can combine the different forms of family education in China and the western countries to create a more reasonable and perfect education model is the question that people are actively exploring. This paper starts from the introduction of the definition of family education, comparative analysis of western comparison of family education in the two countries way.
