Abstract
Jane Eyre was written in the 19th century by Charlotte Bronte. It’s a great realistic novel with strong romanticism. It generally believed that the work is a true portrayal of author’s life. At the same time, this book contributes to the development of Feminism, many scholars research Feminism through it. This book creates a low-born female character who has a hard life. But she keeps independent towards love, personality and social life. She dares to struggle and fight for freedom, even equality of status. This brilliant woman gives readers a deep impression because of her unique image.
This thesis mainly focuses on analyzing the relationship between Jane Eyre and Feminism. Firstly, the paper introduces the life of Charlotte Bronte and the information about Jane Eyre. And then, it gives the definition of Feminism to help us understand this thesis better. This paper talks about the reflection of Feminism in Jane Eyre to let us know the relationship between Feminism and Jane Eyre. It gives people many realistic meanings which help them to be more outstanding in the future.
