Abstract
Since the 1980s when English was put into effect with great effort, a wave of enthusiasm for learning English has even swept over China. This paper elaborates on the state of oral English in China, finds out problems of cross-cultural communication in China's oral English teaching, analyzes underlying cross-cultural communication barriers and makse well-directed suggestions on oral English teaching and students’ cross-cultural communication in China.
