Abstract
Since the new curriculum reform, there are many great changes taken place. However, because of some effects of training, teaching staff and others, at present, spoken English teachings of primary school still have much left for improvement, especially for the students’ oral expression ability. To find out its cause, the main reason is our teachers. Teachers neglected the cultivation of students’ psychological quality, ignored the setting of language scenes, and overlooked the stimulation of interest in learning and the rational use of cooperative learning methods. It is the priority of primary school English teaching that make students dare to say, want to say and can say actively from dare not, don’t want, can’t or passively say in the limited English classroom teaching time and space.
This paper, combining with the related concepts of the new curriculum and according to my own teaching practices, discusses the objectives of oral training: cultivate the students’ interest in learning English to let them dare to speak English; The other one is that strengthen students’ class oral training to let them love to speak.
