Abstract
Pride and Prejudice is a famous novel which takes the end of 18th century to the early 19th century British countryside as the background, through describe four couple's marriage, the author Jane Austen expresses her own opinions: The right view of marriage should be based on mutual admiration and mutual respect. marriage
shouldn't be determined by property and family status, it's wrong to marry for
money, but it's also foolish to marry without money. She stresses the importance of an ideal marriage and puts the love between men and women as the cornerstone of an ideal marriage. The author's marriage is affected by the social reality at that time, advocates find a balance between the physical and emotional, to find a share sincere feelings and property guarantee of marriage. Austen’s views on marriage are still alive today. he key point and objective of the paper is that through this work, prompt and alert contemporary young people that the marriage of congenial temperament, love and economy is the ideal marriage.This paper attempts to interpret the author's views on the ideal marriage view by analyzing the analysis of four marriages in the novel.
