Abstract
With the rapid development of global economy, all sorts of intercultural communication is becoming more and more frequent. Business English plays a very important role in international communication, but business English pragmatic failure is very common. Based on the perspective of cross-cultural communication theory ,the paper discusses the present situation of business English pragmatic competence, and puts forward effective improvement strategy, in order to meet the global economic integration to the requirement of cross-cultural business English talents.
