Abstract
The ultimate goal of English teaching is not for student's test scores, but for students to communicate well in English.Junior high school stage is the foundation of learning English, so we should cultivate the students' interest in learning, let the student lay solid foundation in English, and can communicate in simple language.
At present, the students are in the classroom teaching in English was improved. The current English teaching can effectively improve students' English ability, but it also has much space to be improved.In training students' ability in listening, speaking, reading and writing, the selection of teachers' teaching design and teaching methods put forward higher requirements. Traditional way of English reading teaching has not completely changed. The teacher or their level is limited, or lack of experience in teaching,which is facing the challenge.
English literacy is English ability, and learning English environment to improve reading level through the long time continuous learning. This thesis mainly focuses on the students' English reading literacy, in view of the fact that reading is an important link, can fully embody the English ability, so this research has great practical significance.
