Abstract
‘A dream of Red Mansions’ is one of Chinese four famous novels, and the poetry is closely related to the topic, which is an important component of novel. In this paper, different translation strategies of ‘a dream of Red Mansions’ poetry are introduced and studied from three features. The main work and contribution of the paper are as follows:
Firstly, it introduces the writing background of the ‘A dream of Red Mansions’ and the purpose of the study, which also describes the present situation of the translation of Red Mansions at home and abroad.
Secondly, Poetry translation Features are studied and analyzed.
Thirdly, through some examples for comparison, two translating-versions of ‘A dream of Red Mansions’ are studied.
Finally, the research work in this paper is briefly summarized.
