Abstract
The whole book uses prosperous and recessionary evolvement of Buendia family as a clue, reveal the theme of "Solitude" in the novel. The "Solitude" in “One Hundred Years of Solitude”mainly displays in three levels, including the Solitude of the individual, the Solitude of the family, and the Solitude of the society. The economic plunder and colonial cultural invasion are the outside causes that lead to Solitude, and the unique national spiritual consciousness of Latin America is the inner cause. Moreover, a huge gap between the ideal and reality makes the individual find the emptiness of ideal and return to inaction and Solitude state, and the contradiction between moral and desires lead to Solitude and even the destruction of the family. "Solitude" is not only the symbol of Latin American national historical circumstances, but also the reflection of modern consciousness.Solitude is the instinct of human life,this article comprehensively to analyzes "Solitude",from a deeper level to expose its nature and injuryl.
